I am just giddy with joy for how stunning these cards tuned out! I used The Washi Tape Shop products for these cards. All were made exactly the same, just different colors and different washi tapes. For the blue cards, I used Rose Nocturne Wide Washi and Petal Ponder Wide Washi. For the purple cards, I used Violet Bliss Wide Washi and the Petal Ponder Wide Washi. These were so fun to watch come to life. I started with a card panel of 4×5.25, so it would layer nicely on my card base. I stamped my background in Pinkfresh Studio’s Sky Blue and Rocky Slope inks colors. Then I had to fussy cut the images I wanted to use on my cards. Now, you all know, I do not like to fussy cut, but it is so easy with these washi tapes. I think it is because it does not need to be perfect. The washi tape layers are transparent so it is fool proof. I used Spellbinders Always & Forever Sentiment Strips for my sentiments. I hot foiled in gold for the blue cards and pressed for the purple cards. I added my panel to a card base, embellished with Pinkfresh Studio’s Metallic pearls in gold and was done. And of course keeping with the theme of things I had to decorate my envelops with washi also! These cards came out so cute. I am so pleased. You can watch me recreate the blue card here.
