Wax Seals – An Unboxing and An Epic Fail

Today’s video is a little different than my usual card making video. I thought it would be fun to work on wax seals. They came out super cute, but I did have an Epic Fail that I left in for your entertainment.  Sometimes those things just happen and we need to try again.  I’ve been seeing a lot of wax seal videos popping up on my social media feed and have been amazed by a page called strictlyrita.  She does the most amazing scrape and pour wax seals.  Anyway, I decided to order some wax stamps from her so I could make some dried flowers seals, but then when I went to make the video I realized my flowers need 2 weeks to a month to press and dry so I decided to do an unboxing and pour and scrape video.  I don’t make it look as effortless as Rita, but I think I did okay.  For my rose seal, I used a stamp from Honey Bee, and 3 different colors of wax.  I think it came out super cute.

The heart stamp came from my order from strictlyrita, and I totally failed on my first attempt.  I was disappointed, but I immediately tried again, and I am so happy I did.  It came out fantastic for the beginner I am.  I’m really looking forward to adding the wax seals to my handmade cards!  You can watch the video here.  Thank you for stopping by!
