Today I am sharing a card I made using Pretty Pink Posh’s Batty About You stamp set. There is also a coordinating die set, but I didn’t use that today as I was going for a flat, postage friendly card. This card came out so cute! The photos do not do it justice. First thing, was to figure out how I wanted my stamps laid out. I laid out my stamps in my Misti stamping platform, and once I got the placement that I liked, I stamped the images on a panel. I also stamped my images on masking paper and then fussy cut them out. Next, I colored my bats and tree branches and then covered them with my masks. Then, I did some basic ink blending and created a nice light night sky. I didn’t want my sky too dark because I was afraid that my bats would blend in with a dark sky. Then, I removed my masks and restamped my images with Versafine Onyx Black, added clear embossing powder and then heat set the images. Oh my goodness! The heat embossing really makes the bats and trees pop on the background. This card came out so cute! For more details and links to all the products I used, you can click here.
