Today I thought we would make an official Mother’s Day Card. I used Spellbinders Gorgeous You Perfume Bottle dies to create my focal image. I just did not have it in me to die cut a whole bunch more accent flowers after last weeks card video, so I took the easy way out and used Pinkfresh Studio’s Peony Perfection washi tape and dies. Using the washi tape made decorating my perfume bottle so quick and easy. First I die cut my washi tape and then took one of the flowers to my paper stash and found the perfect blue to match. I dry embossed my background using the retired Pinkfresh Studio Lush Vines hot foil plate. I love creating my backgrounds with hot foil and press plates. Once all my pieces were ready, I started assembly. I glued my perfume bottle together and then decided how I wanted to arrange my washi pieces around it. I added foam tape behind most of my pieces. My sentiment came from Spellbinders Let’s Celebrate Press Plates and Dies. This card came out beautiful! When Pinkfresh Studio released the Peony Perfection suite, they also issued a pink version of the washi tape, so of course I had to do a card in that color. Which is your favorite?
