Jean Jacket

Today’s card features Hero Arts brand new Jean Jacket stencil set. This is such a cut idea! I was sent this five piece stencil set to create for them. The first stencil is the base for your shirt. Stencils two and three fill in the front of the shirt and stencils four and five will color in the back of the shirt. Today we are using the back of the shirt. When I first saw this set, I had a feeling that most samples would be in blue to represent denim, and I wanted to create something totally different, so today I’m creating a wedding card! I think it came out so cute! First, I inked up my gray shirt in Granite ink and then I inked my pink shirt in Azalea ink. Next, I fussy cut and trimmed my shirts so they both would fit on a 4 x 5.25 panel. I added them with foam tape and then added my panel to a 4.25 x 5.5 layering piece. Then it was all about decorating my shirts. I used several Spellbinders die sets for this. A Special Toast, Scallop Journal Cards, Be Bold Uppercase Alphabet and Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet. My Mr and Mrs are cut from Anchor and Tutu cardstock and stacked three layers thick. I hot foiled my sentiments from the Always and Forever Sentiments Strips set. I added some gems and this card was done! I love it! Just another idea for a different wedding card. I also showed two additional cards at the end of my video featuring the brand new Totally Awesome Stamp set. I love the sentiments on this stamp set!  For more details, links to all the products I used and to watch me create this card, you can click here. Thank you for stopping by!  #heroartsmade
