One last Valentine’s Day card. Well, sort of. This card can be used for an anniversary card, a wedding card or just an I Love You card. If you change up the colors you use, this card can have so many different looks. Pink is my favorite color, but I was a tired of using it, so I went for a white card with a couple pops of color, and I love it. I used Concord & 9th’s Love Letters Dies to create this card. After die cutting my main pieces, I started assembly. I inlaid my purple hearts and green leaves into each letter, flipped them over and then added foam tape to the back. The foam tape served two purposes. One, it adhered the inlaid pieces in place, and second, it gave me the dimension I was looking for. I created my stitched background using Pinkfresh Studio’s Stitched Rectangles so it would match the stitching on the letters. My sentiment came from my much loved Always & Forever sentiment strips from Spellbinders. Then to finish off my card, I didn’t want any other color to distract from the letters so I used Pinkfresh Studio’s Clear Drops in Ice. Even though this card is basically all white, all the different layers of dimension create shadows that make it striking in person. I also created one with light pink hearts, but I think I favor the purple this time. You can watch me create this card here. There are also more links in the video description for other supplies used to create this card. Thank you so much for stopping by.
