Today I am sharing a card I created using Spellbinders Majestic Guitar die set from Bibi’s Musical Notes Collection, which is being released today! There are so many stunning items in this collection! I was gifted the Majestic Guitar set from Spellbinders and wanted to do something totally different and decided to do a Day of the Dead themed guitar. I think it came out so cute. My colors were inspired by a Day of the Dead wreath my friend made quite a few years back. I don’t have a picture of it, but I remember how the red flowers stood out against the black and it was striking. This Majestic Guitar die set is huge and fits a 5×7 card perfectly. I did decide to make this card a little smaller for my video and it also looks fantastic on a standard A2 card. All colored cardstock used is from Spellbinders. I cut my guitar frame and neck from Spellbinders Raven cardstock and my accents are in gold foil. My filigree and skull pieces are from plain white. I brought in an older set, Dancin’ Boy Day of the Dead for the skull and several floral sets from Spellbinders for my flowers and leaves. My background was created using the Geo Quilt 3D Embossing folder. This card came together pretty quickly and I’m super excited to send it to one of my friends that celebrates the Day of the Dead.
