Poinsettia Frame & Wax Seal

Today I am sharing a card using Pinkfresh Studio’s Poinsettia Frame, Hot Foil Plate, Stencil set and Dies.  (There is also a coordinating stamp set, but I didn’t purchase that because the hot foil set had everything I wanted.)  I also made a matching wax seal for the envelope!  To start I hot foiled my plate using Spellbinders Black Glimmer foil.   I decided to try to make a white poinsettia instead of the traditional red, so I only used five of the stencils from the set of seven.  I didn’t want to add too much additional color.  I used all Pinkfresh Studio inks.  Olive, Evergreen, Misty Coast and Citron.  After my stenciling was complete, I die cut my image and my sentiment and then added them to a card  panel with foam tape.  My gems are Clear Drops, in Leaf.  Then it was time to move on to my wax seal.  I used the poinsettia stamp I received from Strictly Rita as a freebie, but she does have it for sale in her shop.  I had to do the seal in 3 steps.  I first stamped in white wax, let that cool, and then very carefully trimmed out the poinsettia using my craft knife.  Then I placed the flower back on my stamp and stamped on green wax.  I trimmed the leaves and flowers out and then stamped one final time in a light green wax.  It came out so cute, and I just love when I have an additional accent to match my cards.  You can watch me create this card here.  Thank you for stopping by!
