I am in love with the retro look and feel of these cards! Oh my goodness! For these cards I used Pretty Pink Posh’s Summer Surfboards stamp and coordinating die. I heat embossed my images with Brutus Monroe Gilded, and then did minimal coloring with my Tombow alcohol marker #P879. They are so cute! The retro look makes this a perfect masculine card. Of course, you could always change up your color pallet and make it more feminine. For my paper choices, I used all StampinUp cardstock since I still have so much of it. The colors I used are Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral and Bumble Bee. All my strips are cut to a quarter inch (.25). And of course I can’t make a card without a little bling so I used Pinkfresh Studio’s Pearls in Gold. You can always change out the sentiment and use the one that came with the stamp set and turn this into a “Happy Summer” card.
