Today’s video features Spellbinders new Oh Joy! and Stitched Baubles & Boughs. I created 2 cards using these sets and each has it’s own vibe. One is more playful and the other is a little more elegant. For my first card I used the Oh Joy! set and also brought in The Clauses die set for my Santa faces. I stacked my Ho Ho Ho 3 times for dimension. And my Santa faces were very easy to assemble. I added foam strips and foam squares behind everything. My background was created by inking with Pine ink from Hero Hues and then I cut it from the Playful Stitched Panels die set. I lined everything up, adhered my elements and added my sentiment. I also added a few holly leaves just for extra decoration. For my second card I used the Stitched Baubles & Boughs set. I kept this card very simple with a light color scheme. I love the matte gold and silver accents. I duplicated my ornaments 3 times and used gold floss for my stitching. My background was created using the Crackle Paint 3D Embossing folder. I figured out my placement and added my ornaments with thick foam squares. Then I added my frame after I cut it from the Linear Touch Rectangles and Tag set. For the finishing touch I added a few Oyster Fashion gems and this card was done. These came perfect! One cute and one elegant!
