Today I’m sharing these adorable Birthday Treat Boxes turned Easter Baskets. When I first saw this die set, I thought OMG, it’s a french fry box! This box can be used for so many occasions. I can’t wait to hand these out to the folks at my local post office. I love handing out treats for special occasions and holidays. They are so cute! I used primarily Pretty Pink Posh supplies. To start I used Pretty Pink Posh’s new Birthday Treat Box for my base and die cut it from colored card stock. I die cut an extra piece from white card stock for the front of the box to stamp on and color. I trimmed this out and then stamped my images from Pretty Pink Posh’s Bunny Friends, Easter Sentiments and Easter Friends stamp sets in Memento ink. Don’t be afraid to mix and match various stamp sets. I fussy cut several masks, which made stamping my images easier and I was able to create a scene with the bunny and the eggs. I cut a mask from a grassy border die that I had in my stash and then ink blended some grass with Pinkfresh Studio’s Key Lime ink. Then I stenciled some clouds with Waffle Flower’s Cloudy stencil and Pinkfrsh Studio’s Sky Blue ink. Then I removed my masks and colored my images with copic markers. The colors I used to color my images were E34, E57, BV11, V17, B12, B05, G21, G05, G07, Y38, Y17, Y19, YR04, R20, RV02, RV13 and 0. After all my coloring was done, I placed my panel back in my Misti and restamped so I could get a nice dark black outline. Finally I die cut some strips for the handles using Pinkfresh Studio’s Slim Stitched Scalloped Rectangles and attached these with a little liquid glue. They came out so cute! You can watch me demonstrate these baskets on my YouTube channel here. https://youtu.be/nwPKpzJJUQQ Thank you so much for stopping by!
