Hi there! Today I felt like I wanted to mix it up a little and try something different in celebration of my 100th video! I’ve been getting a lot of journaling/scrapbooking in my social media feeds and fell in love with the look of some of the pages I saw, and thought to myself, “that would make a really pretty card.” So I bought some washi tape from The Washi Tape Shop and gave it a go. These cards came together so quickly I was able to make several in one afternoon. I started by creating my background with a Stampers Anonymous stencil that I had in my stash and the Honey Bee Stamps Salvaged Brick stencil. Then I stamped the text on my panel using Hero Arts Scrip Bold Print stamp. For my inks I used Pinkfresh Studio’s Olive, Doe and Licorice. Then I chose the images I wanted to use, fussy cut them out and adhered them to my card base. For my sentiment, I hot foiled several (just in case I couldn’t make up my mind) from the Spellbinders Mini Everyday Sentiment set. Then for my finishing touch I added Pinkfrsh Studio’s Metallic Pearls in Sparkling Champagne. And just like that I was done and so happy with the way they came out! Be sure to head over to my YouTube channel to watch me create this card. If you would like to win this card in my giveaway, head over to my channel, watch the video and comment. I will select one winner from all comments. I will announce the winner in my May 5, 2024 video. You can watch me recreate this card here.
