Today I am sharing a sympathy card I made using Altenew’s Treasured Memories Project Kit. This kit comes with the large stamp set, dies, stencil set and an embossing folder. I didn’t use the embossing folder, but I did use everything else, and I love how this came out. It’s a pretty card, using a simple layout and even though I used a sympathy sentiment, you could use any sentiment you want to. Altenew makes creating fun! Everything you need is in this kit. I positioned my stamp in my Misti, and stamped my image. Once that was done, the magic began with the stenciling. Stenciling is easy, but can be time consuming. This card took me just under an hour, and was so worth it. Make sure after you are done ink blending to place your image back in your Misti and stamp the image again so you can get a nice dark outline. It came out beautiful! Then I die cut the image and decided on placement so I could use as much of the flowers as possible. I heat embossed my sentiment in white embossing powder on black cardstock. Then I foam mounted my my images, added my sentiment, my enamel dots and I was done! The purples are so striking! You can watch the video here!
