Dancin’ In the Rain

Today’s card features Spellbinders Dancin’ in the Rain Cutting Dies.  It came out so cute!  And the little legs on the person move!  And that duck!  Oh my goodness!  The hardest part was deciding what colors to use for the umbrella and accent pieces.  My husband said it reminds him of the Morton Salt girl.  It sure is similar!  After I die cut all my pieces, I ink blended a little color to the edge of the pieces for more dimension.  For my background I used a cloud stencil from my stash and ink blended some clouds with Distress ink in Picket Fence.  The assembly was pretty simple and came together surprisingly quickly.  My sentiment came from Spellbinders Always and Forever Sentiment Strips.  This sentiment set is the best!  Adding all those little rain drops was a little tedious and time consuming, but so worth it in the end.  I also added a few enamel dots, just to finish it off.  And I did one off screen in teal colors, because that’s how I roll.  You always need more than one sample!  You can watch me create this card here.  Thank you for stopping by.
