Birthday, Everyday

Fabulous Friend

I loved this Fabulous Friend stamp set from Spellbinders from the moment I saw it.  I’m so glad I got the chance to use it today.  The only thing that took any time was the coloring, and the additional supplies on this card were minimal.  To start, I stamped my image in a alcohol marker friendly ink and then colored.  After I was done coloring, I did return my image to my Misti and stamp again just to darken the black lines.  Alcohol markers have a tendency to dull your outline after coloring.  I used all copic markers except one Olo marker.  Colors used will be listed below.  Then I die cut my image using the My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle dies.  I also die cut my glitter layering piece from the same die set, I just used one size larger.  I layered my pieces with foam tape, and added them to a card base and then embellished with some Pinkfresh Glitter Drops in Amethyst.  It came out so cute!  One is for a friend’s birthday this month, and the other is for a friend in January.  I know they will love this card.  You can watch me recreate this card here.  Thank yo so much for stopping by.
