Today I’m sharing an adorable card using the I Like Cute Moths Stamp, Die and Stencil sets from Lawn Fawn. When first I saw this set, I knew I wanted to do a night time, almost Halloween card. I love creating night time scenes with Lawn Fawn images because the colors pop on the dark background. To start, I stamped my images and then used the coordinating stencils. I kept my colors pretty simple for this card. I restamped my images and heat embossed in clear embossing powder and then die cut everything. I used a black copic marker to fill in the white die cut border. I could have fussy cut the images, but this was quicker and just as effective. Next, I created my dark and dramatic background by blending blues and purple. To create my scene, I also used the Spooky Forest Backdrop and The Reversed Stitched Scalloped Rectangles Windows die. I love dimension so both of these die cuts were added with foam tape. I added my cute little moth images with more foam tape and glued some images directly to my scene. I added a sentiment from the Halloween Icons set from Spellbinders and this card was done! I absolutely love the way this card came out. It can be used for everyday or for Halloween.
