Step into Style

Today’s card was created using Pinkfresh Studio’s Step into Style, Press Plate, Stencil and Die set. I am loving the contrast of the black against the bright colors. I demonstrated the pink card in this week’s video, but the purple version was created using the same exact process.  I just swapped out the pink ink for purple ink. To start, I hot foiled my image using Black Glimmer Foil.  Then, I ink blended my box, bow and shoe image.  For my background I dry embossed the Floral Backdrop cover plate and my black panel was cut from the Nested Rectangle Postage Edge die set.  My sentiment was hot foiled in Matte Silver.  Everything was added with foam tape for dimension.  Because I love dimension on my cards!  I added a few Magenta Glitter Drops and this card was done!  I absolutely love it!  I’ll be honest, at first I really wasn’t a fan of the butterfly wings on the back of the shoe, so I created a card without it.  I have to say though, I think the butterfly has grown on me.  I feel like it really completes the whole look.  Which card do you prefer, the one with or the one without the wing?  For more details, links to all the products I used and to watch me create this card, you can click here.  Thank you for stopping by!
